Item 8.01 Other Events.

Investment banker Byron J. Collier has been appointed to the Advisory Board of Datameg Corporation by CEO James Murphy. Mr. Collier has had a distinguished leadership career in the securities and financial services sectors. He is currently the President of Artemis Capital Group, LLC, a limited liability special situations investment banking company. Prior to forming Artemis Capital, Mr. Collier was a Vice President of Investment Banking with the Chicago Investment Group ("CIG"). Before joining CIG, Mr. Collier served as project coordinator for SuitAbility, Inc., a not-for-profit, and as Vice president of Marketing for the Aquamarine Fund. Mr. Collier has also held management positions at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc., and United Jersey Bank (Bank of America).
