On August 25, 2004, Wyndham International, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it has purchased the lease of the Wyndham Hotel in Manhattan and the exclusive right to use the “Wyndham” name and trademark in New York City. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
