On March 3, 2022, Pierre Dufour notified the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (the “Company”) of his intention not to stand for re-election as a director of the Company at the Company’s 2022 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Mr. Dufour’s decision was not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the Company or the Board on any matter relating to the operations, policies, or practices of the Company. Mr. Dufour also serves on the Board’s Audit Committee and Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Committee.
