Accounting Standards Update and Change in Accounting Principle [Text Block]	New Accounting Standards Effective January 1, 2021, the Company adopted the amended guidance of ASC Topic 740, Income Taxes (Topic 740), which simplifies the accounting for income taxes by removing certain exceptions to the general principles in Topic 740. The amendments also simplify and improve consistent application of other areas of Topic 740. The adoption of the amended guidance did not have a significant impact on the Company’s consolidated financial statements.
