1. ORGANIZATION AND BUSINESS DESCRIPTION	Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel investigational products that help utilize the body’s own immune system to fight cancer, also known as immunotherapy. Our lead immunotherapy candidate, bavituximab, is in Phase III development for the treatment of previously-treated non-small cell lung cancer (the “Phase III SUNRISE trial”) along with several investigator-sponsored trials evaluating other treatment combinations and additional oncology indications. Peregrine also has in-house manufacturing capabilities through its wholly-owned biomanufacturing subsidiary Avid Bioservices, Inc. (“Avid”), a contract manufacturing organization that provides fully integrated current Good Manufacturing Practices services Peregrine and its third-party customers.
