(b) On August 23, 2022, Ali Salehpour, Senior Vice President, Services, Display and Flexible Technology of Applied Materials, Inc. (“Applied” or the “Company”), notified Applied of his intent to retire from the Company in January 2023. Mr. Salehpour will remain with the Company until January 2023 to ensure a smooth transition of his role and responsibilities.
