On January 29, 2013, George S. Davis, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, notified Applied Materials, Inc. (“Applied”) that he will be departing the company, effective March 8, 2013. On January 30, 2013, Applied issued a press release announcing Mr. Davis’ departure.
