The 2021 six month period regional operating special items, net principally included $410 million of PSP financial assistance, offset in part by $27 million of fleet impairment charges. The fleet impairment charges principally included a non-cash write-down of regional aircraft resulting from the Company’s decision to retire its remaining fleet of Embraer 140 aircraft earlier than planned.
