COMMITMENTS AND CONTINGENCIES	10. COMMITMENTS AND CONTINGENCIES Deferred Revenue The Company offers extended warranty and service contracts to its customers. These contracts typically cover a period of one to five years, and include advance payments that are recorded as deferred revenue. Revenue is recognized as services are performed over the life of the contract, which represents the period over which these revenues are earned. Costs associated with these extended warranty and service contracts are expensed to cost of goods sold as incurred.
