Unrecognized Tax Benefits
In July 2013, the FASB issued amended guidance on the presentation of unrecognized tax benefits when a net operating loss carryforward, a similar tax loss or a tax credit carryforward exists at the reporting date. The amended guidance requires an entity to present unrecognized tax benefits as a reduction to the deferred tax assets created by net operating losses, similar tax losses or tax credits that occur in the same taxing jurisdiction. To the extent that the unrecognized tax benefit exceeds these losses or credits, it shall be presented as a liability. We adopted the amended guidance as of December 31, 2013. The adoption of this amended guidance did not have a significant impact on our unaudited Consolidated Financial Statements.
