Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On July 29, 2022, Imperial Oil Limited (the “company”) by means of a press release announced that the board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of 34 cents per share on the outstanding common shares of the company for the third quarter of 2022. The dividend is payable on October 1, 2022, to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 2, 2022. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.

Imperial declares third quarter 2022 dividend

Calgary, AB – July 29, 2022 – Imperial Oil Limited (TSE: IMO, NYSE American: IMO) today declared a quarterly dividend of 34 cents per share on the outstanding common shares of the company, payable on October 1, 2022, to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 2, 2022.

This third quarter 2022 dividend compares with the second quarter 2022 dividend of 34 cents per share.

Imperial has a long and successful history of growth and financial stability in Canada as a leading member of the petroleum industry. The company has paid dividends every year for over a century and has increased its annual dividend payment for 27 consecutive years.
