Subsequent Events [Text Block]	SUBSEQUENT EVENTS On April 13, 2015, EastGroup sold the last of its three Ambassador Row Warehouses (185,000 square feet) in Dallas for $5,250,000, generating a gain on the sale that will be recognized by the Company in the second quarter. Also in April, the Company acquired 38 acres of development land in San Antonio for $4.4 million and 4.9 acres of development land in Phoenix for $1.5 million.
