Income Taxes	Income Taxes The Corporation's income tax provision for the three months ended April 2, 2016 was $5.9 million on pre-tax income of $17.7 million or an effective tax rate of 33.2 percent. For the three months ended April 4, 2015, the Corporation's income tax provision was $5.1 million on pre-tax income of $13.5 million or an effective tax rate of 37.5 percent. The effective tax rate was lower in the three months ended April 2, 2016 principally due to timing of the enactment of the R&D tax credit and change in mix related to foreign earnings.
