Subsequent Events	Subsequent Events Upon discovery in January 2014 of a requirement under the HVF II Series 2013-B Notes unknowingly not being met, Hertz promptly obtained waivers from 100% of the noteholders required to waive and cure the related amortization events and provided the required notices. In February 2014, we added Firefly Rent A Car LLC as a guarantor under certain of our debt instruments and credit facilities. In February 2014, the maturity date of the Canadian Securitization was extended to March 2015. In February 2014, the maturity date of the Dollar Thrifty-Sponsored Canadian Securitization was extended to March 2015. In March 2014, Hertz Holdings announced that its Board of Directors has approved plans to separate the Hertz car and equipment rental businesses into two independent, publicly traded companies. Additionally, Hertz Holdings' Board approved a new share repurchase program totaling $1 billion which replaces the existing program.
