14. Segment Information

We have two operating segments, United States (includes the Dominican Republic and Ireland operations) and Canada, which have been identified as components of our organization that are reviewed by our Chief Executive Officer to determine resource allocation and evaluate performance. Each operating segment derives revenues from the branded uniform and facility services programs. During the three and six months ended December 31, 2011, and for the same periods of the prior fiscal year, no single customer’s transactions accounted for more than 2.0% of our total revenues. Substantially all of our customers are in the United States, Canada and Ireland.

The income from operations for each segment includes the impact of an intercompany management fee assessed by the United States segment to the Canada segment. This intercompany management fee was approximately $2.0 million and $2.2 million for the three months ended December 31, 2011 and January 1, 2011, respectively and $4.0 million and $4.4 million for the six months ended December 31, 2011 and January 1, 2011, respectively.

We evaluate performance based on income from operations. Financial information by segment for the three and six month periods ended December 31, 2011 and January 1, 2011 is as follows:
