Item 8.01 Other Events

Based on internal estimates and the pace of construction of B2 BKLYN, an apartment building in Brooklyn, New York, Forest City Enterprises, Inc. (the "Company") has determined that the anticipated completion of the project will be delayed. The Company previously disclosed an anticipated completion date during the fourth quarter of 2014 and now anticipates a completion date during the fourth quarter of 2015.
