Restructuring and Related Activities Disclosure [Text Block]	Company-wide Reorganization Program During 2010, the Company initiated a Company-wide Reorganization Program (the “CWR Program”), including a reshaping of the organization with the objective of deploying resources closer to the customers, allowing Omnicare to become more responsive to customer needs, better leveraging the Omnicare platform and better positioning the Company for potential growth. The program was completed in the third quarter of 2012 with the completion of the relocation of the Corporate office. As of June 30, 2013, the Company has made cumulative payments of approximately $3.2 million of severance and other employee-related costs for the CWR Program. The Company had liabilities of approximately $8.5 million at December 31, 2012, with utilization of approximately $1.6 million in the six months ended June 30, 2013. The remaining liabilities of $6.9 million at June 30, 2013, represent amounts not yet paid relating to actions taken in connection with the program (primarily lease termination costs) and will be settled as these matters are finalized.
