4. LAND AND BUILDINGS

The Land owned by the Company's wholly owned subsidiary constitutes the largest asset of the Company. During the period ending June 30, 2017 the Company recorded an increase in the carrying value of the Land of $24,312, due to the currency translation difference. The carrying value of the Land of the Company was as follows:
