Item 8.01 – Other Events

Preparation of the Arcland Energy Corporation (the “Company”) Annual Report on Form 10-K for the period ended July 31, 2008 has been delayed due to Jaspers & Hall, PC’s (the Company’s former auditors) inability to reissue their audit report for the period August 1, 2006 through July 31, 2007. thereby requiring Whitley Penn LLP (the Company’s current registered public accounting firm ) to re-audit such period.
