Subsequent Events	Note 9. Subsequent Events As previously disclosed, on March 18, 2013, the Board of Directors of the Company authorized and approved the Electro-Sensors, Inc. 2013 Equity Incentive Plan (the “2013 Plan”), subject to approval by the Company’s shareholders on or before March 18, 2014. At the Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on April 24, 2013, the Company’ shareholders approved the adoption of the 2013 Plan. On April 24, 2013, the Company declared a $.04 dividend on its common stock, payable on May 24, 2013 to shareholders of record as of May 10, 2013. Also on April 24, 2013, the Company entered into a four year lease agreement for three copiers/printers with annual minimum lease payment of approximately $8,000.
