Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 2, 2006, Emulex Corporation (“Emulex”) announced the acquisition of Aarohi Communications, Inc. for up to approximately $39 million in cash, contingent consideration, assumed debt and assumed Aarohi stock options. A copy of the related press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
