Preferred Stock

The Company is authorized to issue 500,000 shares of preferred stock at a par value of $1.00, including 21,000 authorized shares of Series A Preferred Stock.

On October 2, 2017, the Company issued 14,700 shares of Series A Preferred Stock in connection with the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of the Boyd Coffee Company. At December 31, 2021, Series A Preferred Stock consisted of the following:
