Item 8.01. Other Events.
On August 12, 2020, EQT Corporation issued a press release announcing the results of its previously announced cash tender offer (the Tender Offer) for any and all of its outstanding 4.875% Senior Notes due 2021 (the Notes). The Tender Offer expired at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on August 11, 2020 (the Expiration Date). On the Expiration Date, $101,450,000 aggregate principal amount of the Notes were validly tendered and not validly withdrawn, which does not include $1,456,000 aggregate principal amount of the Notes that remain subject to guaranteed delivery procedures. A copy of the press release announcing the results of the Tender Offer is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
