Financial Statements	Financial Statements The accompanying unaudited Condensed Consolidated Financial Statements have been prepared in accordance with United States generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for interim financial information and with the requirements of Form 10-Q and Article 10 of Regulation S-X. Accordingly, they do not include all of the information and footnotes required by United States GAAP for complete financial statements. In the opinion of management, these statements include all adjustments (consisting of only normal recurring accruals, unless otherwise disclosed in this Form 10-Q) necessary for a fair presentation of the financial position of EQT Corporation and subsidiaries as of June 30, 2017 and December 31, 2016, the results of its operations for the three and six month periods ended June 30, 2017 and 2016 and its cash flows and equity for the six month periods ended June 30, 2017 and 2016. In this Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q, references to “we,” “us,” “our,” “EQT,” “EQT Corporation,” and the “Company” refer collectively to EQT Corporation and its consolidated subsidiaries. As of December 31, 2016, the Company reports its results of operations through three business segments: EQT Production, EQT Gathering and EQT Transmission. The segment disclosures and discussions contained in this Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q have been recast to reflect the current reporting structure for all periods presented. Certain previously reported amounts have been reclassified to conform to the current year presentation under the current segment reporting structure. The balance sheet at December 31, 2016 has been derived from the audited financial statements at that date but does not include all of the information and footnotes required by United States GAAP for complete financial statements.
