Subsequent Events	Subsequent Events On July 12, 2017, FHFA, the conservator, on behalf of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, entered into a settlement agreement with The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc and certain related entities and individuals (collectively “RBS”) resolving legal claims relating to private-label mortgage-backed securities RBS sold to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. As a result of this settlement, we will recognize approximately $975 million in “Fee and other income” in our condensed consolidated statements of operations and comprehensive income for the three months ended September 30, 2017.
