(a) Change in estimate in 2010 is the result of continued safety improvements and decreasing claim trends for both personal injury and occupational injuries.  

(b) Separation liabilities and freight rate dispute reserves have been reclassified to other current liabilities and other long-term liabilities.

These reserves are considered critical accounting estimates due to the need for significant management judgments. They are provided for in the consolidated balance sheets as follows:
