Certain employees of the Company participate in Deere & Company share-based compensation plans. During 2021, 2020, and 2019, the total share-based compensation expense was $6.3 million, $6.2 million, and $6.9 million, respectively, with an income tax benefit recognized in net income of $1.5 million, $1.4 million, and $1.7 million, respectively. Further disclosure for these plans is included in the notes to the Deere & Company 2021 Annual Report on Form 10-K.
