Subsequent Events	21. SUBSEQUENT EVENTS On February 13, 2018, the Corporation made a voluntary $50 million contribution to the CW Pension Plan. On February 20, 2018, the Corporation announced that it entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of the Dresser-Rand Government Business (Dresser-Rand) for $212.5 million in cash. Dresser-Rand operates as a business unit of Siemens Government Technologies, which is a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of Siemens AG in Germany. Dresser-Rand is a leading designer and manufacturer of mission-critical, high-speed rotating equipment solutions and also acts as the sole supplier of steam turbines and main engine guard valves on all aircraft carrier programs. The acquired business will operate within the Corporation's Power segment.
