Unconditional Commitments
The Company enters into commitments to secure supply of components and manufacturing services, primarily through obligations under purchase orders and contractual agreements to purchase wafers, substrates, memory, other components, and assembly, test, mark and packaging services for manufacturing. The Company also enters into multi-year arrangements with cloud service providers (CSPs) for compute capacity to be used primarily for internal research and development activities, and various licenses and service agreements. These commitments are unconditional obligations that are noncancellable or for which cancellation would result in significant penalties. The Company continually works with suppliers and partners on the timing of payments and deliveries of commitments, taking into account business conditions. Future purchase commitments related to the Company’s operations as of September 26, 2026 were as follows (in millions):
