RENTAL EXPENSE, LEASES AND COMMITMENTS	9. RENTAL EXPENSE, LEASES AND COMMITMENTS The Company leases certain of its facilities and equipment and is required to pay the related taxes, insurance and certain other expenses. Rental expense was $3,429,000 and $2,763,000 for 2015 and 2014, respectively. Future minimum rental commitments under non-cancelable operating leases for 2016 and thereafter are as follows: 2016 – $1,425,000; 2017 – $1,130,000; 2018 – $778,000; 2019 – $231,000; 2020 – $82,000 and thereafter – $0. The commitments do not include any amounts related to minimum royalty payments due on an aggregates property lease in conjunction with the Pueblo, Colorado operation as discussed in Note 2.
