Employee Benefits

401(k) Profit-Sharing Retirement Plan

The Company maintains a contributory 401(k) profit-sharing retirement plan covering substantially all U.S. employees. There were discretionary Company contributions of $0.5 million in 2021 but no contributions for 2020 and 2019.

Other Retirement Plans

The Company maintains various other defined contribution retirement plans covering European employees. Company contributions charged to operations were $0.4 million in 2021, $0.3 million in 2020, and $0.4 million in 2019.

Employee Health Insurance

The Company provides various health insurance plans for its employees, including a self-insured plan for its salaried and hourly employees in the U.S. In 2015, the Company began offering compliant healthcare coverage as required under The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Where possible, the Company has passed the cost of this coverage on to its clients where the employees that elect this coverage are engaged.
