On January 23, 2023, Selective Insurance Group, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release regarding preliminary unaudited estimated results of the Company’s operations for the quarter ended December 31, 2022, including an initial estimate for pre-tax net insured catastrophe losses, primarily resulting from the significant winter storm in late December 2022. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
