Natural Disaster	NATURAL DISASTER In August 2021, Hurricane Ida caused damage to portions of Louisiana, including Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots, and 15 off-track betting facilities ("OTBs") owned by Video Services, LLC ("VSI") (collectively, "Fair Grounds and VSI"). Two OTBs remain closed. The Company carries property and casualty insurance, as well as business interruption insurance subject to certain deductibles. During the nine months ended September 30, 2022, the Company incurred $2.3 million of operating expenses related to ongoing recovery and maintenance efforts and received $8.0 million from our insurance carriers. The Company has also recorded an insurance recovery receivable of $1.0 million. In total, the Company has received $10.7 million from our insurance carriers which includes $4.1 million related to business interruption claims. The proceeds from the business interruption claims are included in other income in the Condensed Consolidated Statement of Comprehensive Income. The Company is currently working with its insurance carriers to finalize its claim and we currently do not expect our losses to exceed the applicable insurance recoveries.
