CONSENT OF INDEPENDENT REGISTERED PUBLIC ACCOUNTING FIRM

        We consent to the reference to our firm in the Registration Statement (Form F-10) and related short form prospectus of Talisman Energy Inc. (the "Corporation") dated March 16, 2010.
