TALISMAN ENERGY INC. CONFERENCE CALL

CALGARY, Alberta – October 20, 2005 – Talisman Energy Inc. has scheduled a telephone conference call for investors and analysts on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. MDT (11:00 a.m. EDT) to discuss the recently announced recommended cash offer for the shares of Paladin Resources PLC.
