Under these agreements, the Reporting Person agreed to purchase any and all shares from the investors for $2.00 per share during the exercise windows listed above. The investors' party to the agreements described above sought to exercise the put option and cause the Reporting Person to buy their shares of Chief Consolidated Mining Company common stock during the applicable exercise periods. The Reporting Person, however, was not in a financial position to purchase the shares subject to the put option. On March 10, 2005, after negotiations with the investors, the Reporting Person cancelled the put option by its payment of $815,260 to the investors. The Reporting Person did not receive any shares. REMARKS: This report is filed jointly by Dimeling, Schreiber & Park, Richard R. Schreiber and Steven G. Park, all of whom are ten percent owners. Richard R. Schreiber and Steven G. Park are also directors of Chief Consolidated Mining Company. Mr. Schreiber is Chief Consolidated Mining Company's President and Mr. Park is Chief Consolidated Mining Company's Secretary and Treasurer. The put option (obligation to buy) was given by Dimeling, Schreiber & Park. Richard R. Schreiber and Steven G. Park are principals of Dimeling, Schreiber & Park. /s/ Richard R.
