5. Transactions with Affiliated Companies

An affiliated company is a company in which the Company owns at least 5.0%, up to 25.0% (inclusive), of the voting securities and/or investments under common control, and the Company does not have the power to exercise control over the management or policies of such portfolio company. A controlled affiliated company is a company in which the Company, either directly or through one or more controlled companies has an ownership interest of more than 25% of its voting securities. See the Company’s Schedules of Investments for the type of investment, principal amount, interest rate including the spread, and the maturity date.
