Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On July 8, 2021, Michael Rawlinson informed the Board of Directors of African Gold Acquisition Corporation, a Cayman Islands corporation (the “Company”), of his intention to resign as a director of the Company effective immediately. His resignation was not due to any disagreement with the Company.
