Science Strategic Acquisition Corp. Alpha (the “Company”) has determined that it is unable, without unreasonable effort or expense, to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarterly period ended March 31, 2021 (the “Form 10-Q”) by the prescribed filing date for the following reason: the Company is still assessing the impact of the guidance issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 12, 2021 as to the accounting implications of certain terms that are common in warrants issued by special purpose acquisition companies. The Company currently expects to file the Form 10-Q on or prior to May 24, 2021, but can provide no assurance that it will be able to file by such time.
