Other Acquisitions	4. Other Acquisitions During fiscal 2021 and 2019, the Company completed acquisitions of small, regional veterinary businesses for total consideration of approximately $5.5 million and $3.0 million, respectively. Noncash consideration was not material. Net tangible and identifiable intangible assets acquired and liabilities assumed were not material. The acquisitions resulted in the recognition of $4.7 million and $3.0 million of goodwill, respectively. The tax-deductible portion of goodwill in these acquisitions was $2.4 million and $3.0 million, respectively. Pro forma results of operations for the acquisitions have not been presented because they are not material to the consolidated results of operations.
