13. Segment Information

The CODM assesses performance for the life sciences segment based on net loss, which includes evaluating the progress of ongoing clinical trials. The life sciences segment is dedicated to developing off-the-shelf, allogeneic, NK cell-based therapies that are effective, safe and accessible for patients with devastating autoimmune diseases and cancers. The measure of segment assets is reported on the balance sheet as total assets. All long-lived assets are maintained in the United States.
