Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

Karuna Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) is aware of media reports indicating the closure of Silicon Valley Bank (“SVB”) and the appointment of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (“FDIC”) as receiver. The Company maintains a de minimis amount of cash and cash equivalents, less than one million U.S. dollars in excess of the FDIC standard deposit insurance limit, with SVB.
