10. Stockholders’ equity

In August 2022, the Company entered into a sales agreement with Cowen, acting as sales agent, pursuant to which it may offer and sell through Cowen up to $150.0 million in shares of the Company's common stock from time to time in a series of one or more at the market equity offerings. As of December 31, 2023, the Company sold an aggregate of 4.7 million shares of the Company's common stock under the ATM facility, and received $27.6 million in net proceeds after deducting commissions and expenses.
