These bank borrowings were pledged by margin clients’ shares as the primary source of credit risk mitigation of the lenders, and beared floating interest rates based on various benchmarks including Hong Kong Prime Rate, Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate(“HIBOR”), CNH HIBOR, etc.
