During the six months ended June 30, 2020 and the year ended December 31, 2019, there were no transfers between levels. The fair values of the Company’s cash equivalents, consisting of a money market fund and demand deposit, are based on quoted market prices in active markets with no valuation adjustment.

The Company uses the carrying amounts of its restricted cash, unbilled grants receivable, prepaid expenses and other current assets, accounts payable and accrued expenses to approximate their fair value due to the short-term nature of these amounts.
