RELATED-PARTY TRANSACTIONS

NOTE 10 – RELATED-PARTY TRANSACTIONS

During the years ended December 30, 2022 and December 31, 2021, the Company leased office space at fair value from former owners of acquired companies that became shareholders and/or officers of the Company. The Company recognized lease expenses under these leases within the Consolidated Statements of Operations in the amount of $0.8 million and $0.9 million for the years ended December 30, 2022 and December 31, 2021, respectively.

During the years ended December 30, 2022 and December 31, 2021, the Company performed certain environmental consulting work for an affiliate of one of its principal shareholders or members and collected fees related to these services in the amount of $0.1 million and $0.1 million, respectively.
