RELATED-PARTY TRANSACTIONS

NOTE 10 – RELATED-PARTY TRANSACTIONS

During the three and nine months ended September 30, 2022 and October 1, 2021, the Company leased office space at fair value from former owners of acquired companies that became shareholders and/or officers of the Company. The Company recognized lease expenses under these leases within the Statement of Operations in the amount of $0.2 million for each of the three months ended September 30, 2022 and October 1, 2021 and $0.6 million for each of the nine months ended September 30, 2022 and October 1, 2021.

During the nine months ended September 30, 2022 and October 1, 2021, the Company performed certain environmental consulting work for an affiliate of one of its principal shareholders or members and collected fees related to these services in the amount of $0.0 and $0.1 million, respectively.
