Item 5.07Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders.
On May 10, 2023, Ecovyst Inc. (the “Company”) held its 2023 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”). There were 120,010,952 shares of the Company’s common stock issued and outstanding on the record date and entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting, and 109,637,439 shares of the Company’s common stock were represented in person or by proxy at the Annual Meeting. Set forth below are the final voting results for each of the proposals submitted to a vote of the Company’s stockholders at the Annual Meeting. For more information about the proposals, please see the Company’s definitive proxy statement, which was filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on April 13, 2023.
Proposal One: Each of the three Class III director nominees was elected to serve on the Company’s board of directors for a term of three years. The results of the vote were as follows:
