On September 30, 2019, Spark Networks SE (the “Company”) issued an open letter to shareholders, a copy of which is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.

Management Changes.

On August 29, 2019, the Administrative Board of the Company appointed Bert Althaus, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, as a Managing Director of the Company. Mr. Althaus’s appointment began on September 16, 2019 and will be effective as of the date of registration in the commercial register (Handelsregister) of the local court (Amtsgericht) of Munich, Germany.
