SUBSEQUENT EVENTS	15. SUBSEQUENT EVENTS On October 26, 2022, at a Special Meeting of Stockholders (the “Special Meeting”), the stockholders of Applied Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) approved an amendment (the “Amendment”) to the Company’s Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation to increase the number of shares of the Company’s common stock authorized for issuance from 100,000,000 shares to 200,000,000 shares (the “Authorized Shares Increase Proposal”). The Amendment became effective upon the Company’s filing of a Certificate of Amendment to the Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation of the Company with the Secretary of State of the State of Delaware on October 26, 2022.

The entire disclosure for significant events or transactions that occurred after the balance sheet date through the date the financial statements were issued or the date the financial statements were available to be issued. Examples include: the sale of a capital stock issue, purchase of a business, settlement of litigation, catastrophic loss, significant foreign exchange rate changes, loans to insiders or affiliates, and transactions not in the ordinary course of business.
